Credit Card Payment

Your Credit card data will be sent directly to Banca Intesa - Setefi, specialised on on-line payment management. The information will be encrypted with Cryptographic Systems. This will prevent your data from being disclosed to third parties.

Please consult our website to view which credit cards are accepted.

The following information is required:

Full name
A telephone number
Credit Card no.
Expiration date
Security code
Bill To address

The name of the person placing the order must match the name of the cardholder.

If one of the above mentioned conditions is not respected, we reserve the right to arrange a control on credit card purchase on our website.

The aim of this control, for which the consumer will be immediately informed by e-mail, is to protect the consumer against fraud.

The credit card authenticity control request is forwarded to the credit card bank. It will take few days in order to complete the controls and this will affect the delivery time.

Lead time and shipping cost

The delivery time may vary according to the final destination of the goods and according to when the order is received. The delivery can take 5 to 10 business days
The carrier used is usually UPS.

With every shipment you will receive an envelope containing:
- invoice
- withdrawal form

Upon receipt of the product, please verify that:
- the number of cartons indicated on the document of transport is exactly what you received
- the package must be unopened and undamaged; any objection must be notified immediately to the carrier, otherwise the product will be considered shipped correctly

Shipping Terms

Shipments to PO boxes are not accepted.

Shipment to APO address are not accepted.

From Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

If you are not available to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card and will try again the day after.

In case you are not available the day after, you will be able to contact the carrier and arrange a free delivery within 5 days from the first delivery attempt date; in this case you won't be charged extra for redelivery and/or for undelivered stock.

The vendor declines any responsibility for shipping surcharge.

In case you don’t contact the carrier within 10 days from the first attempt date, the carrier will return the parcel to Vibram Spa, which will be the goods owner, as the customer didn’t take delivery of the parcel as per the terms agreed. The contract will be cancelled and Vibram S.p.A. will have the right to charge the full amount paid by the customer as a penalty.

Shipping Cost

Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the geographical destination of the goods.

Once you add the product(s) to the shopping cart, click on “calculate the shipping cost,” add the ship to address, and the amount required for the shipment will appear.

Right of withdrawal

Internet sales are regulated by Italian Law D.Lgs n. 185 del 22/05/1999, which refers to Distance Contracts, those contracts not signed in physical commercial areas. This law states for all the natural persons the right to withdraw the contract and send back the products they bought, getting a refund of what they paid.

This right is not extended to legal entities/bodies corporate or to customers acting within their professional activity

Return delivery costs shall be borne by Customer pursuant to law.

The right of withdrawal is not applied if the returned product is not complete:
- lack of original packaging
- lack of integral product elements (accessories, cables, manuals)
- product damages not due to transportation.

Contract withdrawal: procedure

In case you want to avail yourself of the withdrawal right after a purchase on our website, you will need to follow the following procedure:

Within ten business days upon receipt of the goods, you will have to send an e-mail to our Customer Service e-mail address: info@vibramfivefingers.it declaring the will of withdrawing the contract.

Vibram FiveFingers® will send you the link where to fill in the withdrawal form, which must be included along with the product.

Please send the product and the withdrawal form to:

by registered letter with signed return receipt

After verification, Vibram spa will refund the credit card you used to buy but just the cost of the goods (shipping cost not included) within 30 days upon receipt of the returned goods.

Before accrediting the amount due, VIbram S.p.A. will check that the goods have been returned in the original packaging, including full set of accessories, manual, carrying pouch and that the shoes are unworn (outsole and footbed must be perfectly clean).

Security

We use a Secure Server SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for data transmission. SSL is a protocol which provides the best information coding techniques. This is to make sure that personal and credit card data are sent through internet safely.

Even the user has easy access to a Secure Server SSL. This is possible using Netscape or Internet Explorer last versions (starting from the 4th version both for Netscape and Internet Explorer). These browsers can transfer coded information to/from the Bank Secure Server for the verification.

While sending and receiving data connected to a Secure Server SSL, some masks will inform you that you have reached secure areas (Hard Copy Form) These areas are easily recognisable as the page address contains a “s” in the prefix https (the “s” stands for security). Moreover you can receive further information depending on the browser you are using.

Netscape displays on the left bottom the “closed safety lock” icon and some information on SSL Certificate are made available (Certification Authority, release date, expiry dates, etc.) through a menu button.

Internet Explorer displays on the right bottom “closed safety lock” icon and some information on SSL Certificate are made available (Certification Authority, release date, expiry dates, etc.) through a menu selection.

Once you select the payment by credit card, you access a page where to enter the data that will be sent to the Secure Server SSL. The access to Secure Server SSL will take place just when the data are transmitted. The data will remain on the user’s computer as long as you click on the “send data” button.

Rights and Warranty: Non compliance defects

According to the provisions of Decreto legislativo n° 24 del 02-02-2002,enforced by the guidelines of Direttiva 1999/44/CE, Vibram S.p.A. is responsible towards the customer for any existing non compliant defect when the goods are delivered.
The non compliant defects can be noticed when the goods, defective or not working properly, even due to transportation, have been received or when the good does not comply with product description provided by the vendor.
In case of non compliant defects the consumer has the right to have the goods repaired or replaced, at seller’s expense, unless the repair is too expensive or not possible.
Vibram S.p.A is responsible for the defects that can not be found when the purchase takes place, provided that the product has been used properly, following usage guidelines and technical information provided.
Warranty for non compliant defects won’t apply in case of unproper, negligent use.
The non compliant defects have to be reported within 26 months after the purchase date; this timeframe is determined by the warranty life, which is 24 months, plus two months.
Warranty will apply to the product presenting non compliant defects, not noticeable when the order is placed. Moreover it will apply just if the goods will be returned in the original packaging, including full set of accessories, manual, carrying pouch.

Repair or replacement: procedure

You will have to send an e-mail to our Customer Service to: info@vibramfivefingers.it indicating the fault noticed. Vibram FiveFingers will then evaluate the request and in case of a positive answer Vibram will e-mail an authorization number (RMA), this number is required on the Repair/Replacement Form.

Within ten working days upon receipt of the authorization number, you will have to send the product together with the related form to:

After receipt and inspection of the goods Vibram S.p.A. will repair or replace them within a fair delay. Shipping will be at Vibram S.p.A.‘s expenses.

In order to repair or replace the goods, they will have to be returned in the original packaging, including full set of accessories, manual, carrying pouch.

Rights and warranty - Exchange request
If the customer notices any damages (quality or factory fault) when receiving the goods, he will be able to ask for a replacement.

The replacement right will be applied if the following damages will be noticed: torn fabrics, clearly visible components, breakage, loose seams and hidden defects that will prevent from a correct usage of the product.

The replacement right will be applied also if the product received is not the correct size or the size chosen.

Replacement request: procedure

In case you want to request a replacement after a purchase on our website, you will need to follow this simple procedure:

Vibram FiveFingers® will send you the link where to fill in the exchange form, which must be included along with the product.

Please send the product together with the withdrawal form to:
